Grammar and Punctuation:

About this series...

Book 1

How is book 1 organised?

  • There are three chapters – one for each term.
  • Each chapter continues the themed story.
  • Each chapter contains ten individual lessons.

What about the content?

  • Each year group is based on a theme that captures children’s interest.
  • There are clear links between grammar/punctuation and real texts.
  • Pages can be printed in black and white or colour.
  • Every National Curriculum objective for each year group is covered.

What about differentiation?

  • Each story page is followed by differentiated activity sheets with the same objective.
  • The differentiated activities are similar so any teaching points can be shared easily with the whole class.

Book 2

Activity sheets

  • Activity sheets can be used at any time.
  • Ideal for consolidation in class or at home.
  • Activities reinforce National Curriculum objectives.

End-of-term assessments

  • Designed to be administered at the end of each term.
